The ATBC Africa Chapter invites nominations for upcoming officer elections. The nomination deadline has been extended to March 11, 2026.
Members are welcome to nominate themselves or a colleague for one of the following positions. Successful candidates will serve a three-year term (2026–2028).
1 Treasurer
The Treasurer manages the Chapter’s funds and financial records, maintains records of receipts and disbursements, reports to the Association Treasurer and Chapter leadership, supports fundraising efforts, and assists with other duties assigned by the Chapter Committee.
5 Sub-Regional Representatives
(Central, Eastern, Western, Southern, and Madagascar)
Sub-Regional Representatives serve as the main contact point for ATBC within their sub-region. They help strengthen local networks, support Chapter meetings hosted in their region, assist with fundraising efforts, and promote participation by students, conservation practitioners, and policymakers.
All nominees must have a valid ATBC membership. If a nominee does not currently have an active membership, they must join or renew before the nomination deadline.
