Call for proposals: grants for international coral reef conservation projects

The NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program provides matching grants for international coral reef conservation projects. The International Strategy focuses on four priority regions based on their interconnections with U.S. reef ecosystems and existing initiatives and partnerships. Two of these four regions will be considered under this current call for proposals: (i) the Wider Caribbean; and (ii) and Micronesia. Eligible applicants are institutions of higher education, non-profit organizations, non-U.S. government natural resource management agencies, non-U.S. public entities and non-U.S. organizations, and for-profit organizations. NOAA anticipates that most grants will be between US$75 thousand and US$300 thousand annually for up to two years. The deadline for applications is 18 February 2016.
