TROPIMUNDO Master programme 2018-2019

TROPIMUNDO is the first International Master in Tropical Biodiversity and Ecosystems (2 years, 120 ECTS) that allows students to delve into the interlinked ecosystems under threat by spending a full second semester of course work and field schools in the Caribbean islands, the African or Madagascar rainforest, or the Asian mangrove forest or rocky shores, and a fourth semester dedicated to thesis work related to tropical biodiversity and ecosystems. The other two semesters are covering basic and specialized courses in Belgium, Italy, France (incl. French Guiana and French West Indies).

For the 2018-2019 call, the European Commission might provide a certain number of full scholarships for EU and non-EU students. Any information on whether or not the first ranked applicants will receive a scholarship will only be known in July 2018 (to start the programme in September 2018). Selected scholarship holders will have their tuition fees and mobility covered in addition to receiving full insurance and monthly allocations.

Application for 2018-2019 is now open and the deadline for applications is 30 November 2017.
